Megan Michele Sanders (formerly Carey) grew up in Philadelphia and attended Kutztown University of PA where she completed her BFA with an Art History minor and concentration in Drawing. She is now living in the South NJ area with her partner but enjoys the travel to or from either side of the bridge.
Megan's work focuses on the act of mark making as an important component in the result along with themes of anxiety, depression, grief, irony, sarcasm, nostalgia, pop culture and feminism.
